## Book details

Le Tao-te king, « Livre (king) de la Voie (tao) et de la Vertu (te) », est le livre fondateur du taoïsme, l un des piliers de la philosophie chinoise. Il se fonde sur l existence d un principe, le Tao, à l origine de toute chose. Attribué à Lao-tseu (Ve siècle avant J.-C.), mais vraisemblablement retranscrit à partir du IIIe siècle avant notre ère, ce livre sacré a toujours été accompagné de commentaires dans la tradition chinoise. Marcel Conche, grand philosophe de l Antiquité, traduit et commente ce livre parfois sibyllin pour nous permettre d accéder à la Voie taoïste de la sagesse. Il nous apporte les éclaircissements indispensables à la compréhension de ce recueil d aphorismes à l influence considérable. Traduction et commentaires par Marcel Conche
